Is there a difference between uploading one image versus multiple images?
The process for uploading single and multiple images is the same, except that you do not need to reverify the User ID or account details after the uploading of the initial image.

Why is there a difference in file size from the file I uploaded?
There may be a difference in file size due to:

What it the maximum size image supported by PhotoPoint?
PhotoPoint supports images upto 2048x2048.

What it the maximum size image supported by Zing?
Zing supports a maximum size of 2 MB per individual file. Most common image types are supported, but converted to JPG.

What it the maximum size image supported by Sony ImageStation.com ?
Sony ImageStation.com will support a maximum size 10 MB per individual file. Most common image types are supported, but converted to JPG.

I uploaded a MacOS Pict file, and I get a blank image. What's wrong?
Most on-line services do not support all formats of MacOS PICT files. Any picture file that has been compressed with QuickTime most likely will not work.
As of 1.0b18 PICT files are converted to JPG to correct this limitation.

When I upload a file and use PhotoPoint e-mail option, the file mailed is smaller. Why?
PhotoPoint resize the image before e-mailing it. It's generally not a good idea to send large attachments via e-mail. 

How long until PhotoMover gives up?
PhotoMover uses a 4 min time out for establishing an internet connections to the host.

And a 3 min. time out, when waiting for responces from a host.


Aqua and Native Mac OS X Support

The same Carbon version of PhotoMover will run native on Mac OS X and MacOS 9. Under Mac OS X you will get the Aqua Interface and better multitasking.

Mac OS X Preferences for PhotoMover (File: PhotoMover Settings are stored in the User's Library/Preferences/ directory and are compatible with MacOS 9 Preferences. You may wish to copy your preferences from the Preferences folder of MacOS 9's System Folder to the Mac OS X Preferences folder to save you reentering account information.


Carbon Support under MacOS 8.1-9.1

The Carbon version of PhotoMover requires one of the versions of CarbonLib below. CarbonLib is installed automatically by System 9.0 and higher.

CarbonLib 1.0.4 Description and Download Info

CarbonLib 1.0.4 addresses several outstanding customer issues and improves system stability when using Carbon-based applications, such as AppleWorks 6. CarbonLib 1.0.4 allows Apple's developers to write an application with one set of sources deployed across Mac OS 8, Mac OS 9 and Mac OS X systems with minimal effort.

NOTE: If you are running System 8.1, the installer also installs the Navigation Services 1.0.1 library in your Extensions folder.
